The version of the 2nd half of the bar added in AsI seems to be the first version of the final text, hence we regard it as a variant of the latter. However, as upon the return of this bar (bar 19) AsI has only one version, identical to the final one, all three versions can be actually treated interchangeably.

The AsI notation is inaccurate in terms of accidentals – in the principal version the  raising e2 to e2 is written only just in the 4th R.H. figure, while in the added version there is no natural at all. On the other hand, in the L.H. part, Chopin unnecessarily repeated a  to e1 in the 4th passage.

In the main text we add a cautionary  to e1. The flat is present in this figure also in AsI (to the 1st hemidemisemiquaver – see the note above).

AsI includes a few unjustified cautionary accidentals in this bar: a  to the R.H. b1 note at the beginning of the bar, a  to e1 in the 2nd and 4th L.H. hemidemisemiquaver groups and a  to e2 in the 2nd R.H. group.

Both manuscripts are missing a few necessary accidentals in this bar – a  to g2 and naturals to g2, d1 and g1. In addition, in AsI the  to d2 is missing. On the other hand, in A there is an unjustified  to c1 in the last L.H. figure. The latter and both accidentals written in A to the topmost R.H. notes are placed much lower than the noteheads they concern.
